Last Thursday, NEF celebrated the 31st Annual Chicago Neighborhood Development Awards Ceremony with two of our projects and partners taking home well-deserved awards!
The Foglia Residences at The Chicago Lighthouse won the For-Profit Real Estate Development Award. Developed by Brinshore Development, LLC and The Chicago Lighthouse, the Foglia Residences is the first residential project in the US specifically designed for people who are blind or visually impaired.
The Carlton Apartments won the Polk Bros. Foundation Affordable Rental Housing Preservation Award. Mercy Housing Lakefront preserved the Carlton Apartments, an aging property to serve vulnerable residents, ensuring long-term affordability.
Congratulations to our partners and all the winners on their positive contributions to affordable housing and many communities in Chicago!
