The Managing Director of Asset Management (West Region) leads a regional team of professionals responsible for the functional operations of NEF’s portfolio of lower-tier investments in the West Region and serves as a member of the Senior Asset Management team. The Managing Director is responsible for the delivery of high-quality asset management across the West Region, ensuring consistency, accountability, and adherence to organizational standards. The Managing Director provides leadership and oversight to staff that may include Directors, Senior Asset Managers, Asset and Compliance Managers, Associate Asset Managers, and Asset Analysts. 

The Financial Analyst supports NEF’s year-end project reporting and ongoing financial analysis functions, including oversight of project-level tax returns and audits. This position performs quarterly financial analysis of project-level financial statements to support Asset Management and broader portfolio oversight. This role partners closely with Fund Accounting and Asset Management to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent reporting. 

The Project Manager will manage and coordinate due diligence and  underwriting process for lower tier Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) project investments as assigned by the SVP Project Management. Responsible for ongoing communication with the designated VP Project Management, SVP Project Management, originators and investor relations staff as issues emerge.

This person will be responsible for all property and asset management issues from the development of the investment proposal throughout the life of the lower tier partnership to ensure the continuous delivery of tax credit benefits and projected passive losses.

The Head of LIHTC Originations is responsible for the overall leadership, strategy, and performance of NEF’s national LIHTC originations platform. This role oversees regional and specialty LIHTC originations teams, drives national developer relationship strategy, and ensures alignment between production goals, investor needs, and organizational priorities. The Head of LIHTC Originations sets origination policy, ensures consistent execution across markets, and represents NEF as a senior leader within the LIHTC industry.

The Senior Financial Analyst, Sponsor Analysis will be responsible for evaluating the financial strength and creditworthiness of project sponsors and guarantors — including not-for-profit entities, for-profit organizations, and individuals — primarily engaged in real estate investment, development, and management, with a focus on LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) projects. Deliver clear, actionable insights that support investment decisions and risk assessments.

The Vice President of Originations (East Region) will represent NEF and manage the production workload in the designated region. This role is responsible for structuring transactions in a manner consistent with Investor expectations, ensure long-term project viability and meet NEF’s mission. The VP is successful in working independently and collaboratively across departments to structure and negotiate transactions.

The Vice President, Investor Relations is an investor’s primary point of contact at NEF for new and ongoing affordable housing investments. This relationship manager actively participates in marketing to current and new investors and will collaborate with other NEF departments, including Originations, Project Management, Asset Management, and Special Servicing, to ensure the highest caliber of service and responsiveness to investors. This position will develop a deep knowledge of investor goals, priorities, and strategies and ultimately become a subject matter expert at NEF of their assigned investors. A Vice President level has significant Investor Relations or market knowledge and experience and ability to manage high touch investor & fund capital raise and strategy with minimal guidance and oversight of their MD or SVP.
