Managing Director of Asset Management (West Region)

The Managing Director of Asset Management (West Region) leads a regional team of professionals responsible for the functional operations of NEF’s portfolio of lower-tier investments in the West Region and serves as a member of the Senior Asset Management team. The Managing Director is responsible for the delivery of high-quality asset management across the West Region, ensuring consistency, accountability, and adherence to organizational standards. The Managing Director provides leadership and oversight to staff that may include Directors, Senior Asset Managers, Asset and Compliance Managers, Associate Asset Managers, and Asset Analysts.

Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst supports NEF’s year-end project reporting and ongoing financial analysis functions, including oversight of project-level tax returns and audits. This position performs quarterly financial analysis of project-level financial statements to support Asset Management and broader portfolio oversight. This role partners closely with Fund Accounting and Asset Management to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent reporting.

Vice President, Investor Relations (West Region)

The Vice President, Investor Relations is an investor’s primary point of contact at NEF for new and ongoing affordable housing investments. This relationship manager actively participates in marketing to current and new investors and will collaborate with other NEF departments, including Originations, Project Management, Asset Management, and Special Servicing, to ensure the highest caliber of service and responsiveness to investors. This position will develop a deep knowledge of investor goals, priorities, and strategies and ultimately become a subject matter expert at NEF of their assigned investors. A Vice President level has significant Investor Relations or market knowledge and experience and ability to manage high touch investor & fund capital raise and strategy with minimal guidance and oversight of their MD or SVP.
