Congratulations to our partners at Agate Housing and Services and Trellis on the grand opening of The Valiance in Minneapolis, Minnesota! Community members, advocates, and local officials all came out to celebrate the occasion.
The Valiance is a unique, purpose-driven housing development because the top two floors contain 50 affordable housing units and The Shelter on the lower two floors offer 54 shelter beds for women experiencing homelessness. The Valiance apartments are permanent homes with shared kitchen and community spaces designed to support the transition of residents from homelessness into stability. The Shelter is a temporary shelter that operates 24 hours daily, designed for and with unhoused individuals as a dignified space leading to permanent housing.
