Congratulations to our partners at Avalon Housing on the official opening of The Grove at Veridian in Ann Arbor, MI!
More than half of the units at The Grove at Veridian are large enough for families and all rents are restricted at or below 35% of the area median income (AMI), making this community deeply affordable. Fifteen percent of the apartments are fully barrier-free and accessible for residents who need wheelchairs, and the development has achieved National Green Building Standards and Enterprise Green Certification. Resident support services are designed for people exiting homelessness and include 24/7 crisis support, primary medical support, transportation to critical appointments and peer support programs.
It's truly an accomplishment to offer a wide range of supportive, family-friendly, and barrier-free housing that is completely affordable! Thank you to Avalon for sharing in our mission to expand the creation and preservation of affordable housing.
