As the aging population grows, preserving affordable senior housing becomes even more critical.

Our long-time partners at Full Circle Communities, Inc recognized this need and acquired the Brainerd Senior Center in 2021 to rehabilitate and preserve its affordability for adults age 55+ for another several decades to come. Originally built in 2000 on the southside of Chicago, the 60-unit apartment building has been extensively renovated to improve accessibility, modernize the units and building systems.

Senior residents can continue to age in place, living with dignity in a high-quality affordable housing development close to public transit. Christian Community Health Center provides supportive services onsite for those in need, and units are affordable for households earning 30%, 50%, and 60% of the area median income (AMI).
