NEF has investments in almost all 50 states as shown by this map. Many are likely familiar with our work in the LIHTC space but in the past years we have also expanded our work into structured financing (preservation lending and workforce housing investing) and predevelopment lending. In 2025, NEF raised and deployed $2.5 billion in affordable housing investments, including record-breaking financing for Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC)-specific equity at more than $1.94 billion, which results bring NEF's total production to nearly $30 billion and approximately 275,000 affordable homes nationwide.
