Kevin Boes serves as a senior vice president of National Equity Fund, Inc. (NEF) and president and CEO of LISC’s New Markets Support Company (NMSC). In his role at NMSC, he is responsible for managing $778 million in new market tax credits as well as the growth of 14 professionals.
He leads the expansion of its business by offering syndication, compliance and asset management services to new market tax credit recipients and investors.
Boes joined NEF in 2001 and was senior vice president and CFO through 2010. In that role he was responsible for the company’s financial planning, corporate accounting, treasury, and oversight of 100-plus investor funds in NEF’s multi-billion dollar portfolio.
Before joining NEF, Boes founded Boes Consulting after working at KPMG LLP in its real estate assurance and financial services business.
He holds a BA from the University of Northern Iowa and an MBA from Northwestern University’s School of Management. He also is a certified public accountant.
